Ingredients:

Oil 2-3 Tablespoon
Rice (Long Grained) 200 gm
Bay Leaves 2-3
Mint Leaves 1/2 bunch
Coriander Leaves 1/2 bunch
Ginger Garlic Paste 1 Tablespoon
Onion 1
Yogurt 1/2 Cup
Cashew Nuts 10 Pcs
Butter 4 Tablespoon
Saffron 1 Pinch
Salt (according to taste)
Fried Onion and Pomegranate seeds for garnishing

 

Direction:

  • Wash rice twice and soak in water for half an hour. Drain excess water.
  • Heat oil in pan, add nuts, bay leaves and onions. Saute for few minutes.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and salt in low flame.
  • Add mint and chopped coriander, add half cup of yogurt.
  • Add little bit of biryani masala ( or coriander powder and garam masala).
  • Add water and check your masala.
  • When water boiled, add rice and don’t mix it too much. Put the lid.
  • When water absorbed, add fried onions and saffron colour.
  • Let it steam for another 5 minutes.
  • Add some Pomegranate seeds and butter for garnishing.

Serve hot zafrani pulao with curry and yes obviously with love :)
